1.  Student Membership includes every person elected or included in the membership register for as long as his name continues in the register under that capacity.

2.   It is not permissible to accept any person for student membership unless the board has made sure of the following conditions:

a) The candidate’s age must not be less than seventeen years and not more than twenty-five.

b) The candidate must fulfill the intention to practice a professional engineering work that qualifies him for full membership.

c) The candidate must have completed or be about to complete the conditions put forward by the board according to clause 2 of this Article.

1. The Board can enact conditions or pronounce regulations that control the practical training for the member students. It can also work out or agree to agreements or form obligations for the sake of advancing the abovementioned training.

2. According to the Board, every student member can remain in the student membership register until the end of the year that he reaches twenty-eight years of age; However, it is not permitted for anyone to remain a student member when he becomes qualified to be elected for full membership.
